We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Part Time Receptionist to provide coverage for two weeks at our Houston, Texas office. This contract position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to handle a multi-line phone system efficiently. Job Responsibility:
Greet and assist visitors with a welcoming and attentive demeanor
Manage and operate a multi-line phone system, ensuring calls are answered promptly and directed appropriately
Handle inbound calls and provide accurate information or transfer to the correct department
Maintain a clean and organized reception area
Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, managing mail, and updating records
Communicate effectively with staff and external contacts to ensure smooth operations
Provide support for daily office activities as needed
Adhere to high standards in appearance and conduct
Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive information
Requirements:
Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar customer-facing role
Proficiency in handling multi-line phone systems and switchboards
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining focus and accuracy
Familiarity with basic administrative tasks and office equipment
Well-groomed appearance and demeanor suitable for a business environment
Dependable and punctual with strong organizational skills
