We are looking for an experienced Receptionist to join our team in Norfolk, Virginia, on a contract basis. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing exceptional service while managing administrative tasks with efficiency. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational and communication skills.
Job Responsibility:
Greet visitors and ensure a welcoming environment at the front desk
Answer and manage a multi-line phone system, directing calls appropriately
Maintain and organize files and records for easy accessibility
Schedule appointments and coordinate meeting arrangements
Handle email correspondence and respond to inquiries professionally
Perform accurate data entry to maintain up-to-date information
Utilize Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, for various administrative tasks
Support customer service efforts by addressing concerns and providing helpful information
Assist with general office operations to ensure smooth daily workflows
Collaborate with team members to meet organizational goals
Requirements:
At least 2 years of experience in a receptionist or administrative role
Proficiency in answering and managing multi-line phone systems
Strong customer service skills with a detail-oriented approach
Ability to perform accurate data entry and maintain organized records
Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Skill in scheduling appointments and managing calendars
