We are looking for a dependable Receptionist to support daily front-desk and administrative operations for a Contract position based in Plymouth, Minnesota. This role is ideal for someone who communicates effectively, stays organized in a fast-paced setting, and handles a wide range of office support tasks with discretion and accuracy. The position will serve as a key point of contact for visitors, callers, and internal teams while helping maintain smooth day-to-day office functions. Looking for support end of June- September.
Job Responsibility
Welcome visitors, provide a strong first point of contact, and direct guests to the appropriate departments or personnel
Manage incoming calls through the main phone line or switchboard, relay messages accurately, and respond to routine inquiries in a timely manner
Perform administrative support tasks such as data entry, document preparation, filing, photocopying, and handling general correspondence
Coordinate incoming and outgoing mail, courier deliveries, and office shipments while keeping records organized and up to date
Support information gathering and basic research requests to assist team members with administrative and operational needs
Maintain calendars, meeting logistics, and other clerical activities to help ensure efficient office workflow
Safeguard sensitive information by following confidentiality standards and keeping records properly organized
Use Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, to prepare documents, track information, and communicate effectively.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent is required
5-7 years of receptionist, front desk, or administrative support experience is required
Strong verbal and written communication skills with a detail-oriented and customer-focused approach
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities independently while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
Experience working with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint in a business environment
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maintain organized records
Solid interpersonal skills and a dependable work style suited to an onsite office setting.
