Robert Half is partnering with an innovative biotechnology company seeking a polished and professional Receptionist to support daily front office operations. This individual will serve as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, vendors, and employees while helping maintain an organized and efficient workplace. The ideal candidate is customer-service oriented, highly organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, professional environment.
Job Responsibility
Greet and assist visitors, clients, and vendors in a professional and welcoming manner
Answer, screen, and route incoming phone calls and emails
Manage visitor check-in procedures and maintain guest logs
Coordinate conference room scheduling and prepare meeting spaces
Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries
Maintain reception and common areas to ensure a professional appearance
Order and track office and kitchen supplies
Provide administrative support including data entry, document preparation, filing, and calendar coordination
Assist with employee onboarding logistics and office events as needed
Support various departments with special projects and administrative tasks
Requirements
1+ years of receptionist, front desk, customer service, or administrative experience
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining professionalism
Strong customer service mindset and problem-solving abilities
Experience in a biotech, healthcare, pharmaceutical, laboratory, or corporate environment is preferred
Nice to have
Experience coordinating visitors and maintaining office security procedures
Comfortable working with confidential information
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment
