Job Description:

We are looking for a Receptionist to join our team in Metairie, Louisiana. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, ensuring smooth daily operations at our showroom. This is a short-term contract to permanent position, offering an opportunity to grow within the company.

Job Responsibility:

Greet visitors and clients in a detail-oriented and welcoming manner
Manage and direct incoming phone calls to the appropriate departments
Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
Provide outstanding customer service to address inquiries and concerns
Maintain the front desk area, ensuring it is organized and presentable
Schedule appointments and assist with coordinating meetings
Handle basic administrative tasks such as filing and document preparation
Monitor office supplies and coordinate replenishment as needed
Assist with showroom operations and support other team members when required

Requirements:

Previous experience in a receptionist or front desk role
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and basic computer skills
Strong verbal and written communication abilities
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with answering phones and managing inbound calls
Comfortable working with data entry and maintaining accuracy
A team-oriented attitude and willingness to assist in various tasks
