Job Responsibility
Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate person or department in a friendly and efficient manner
Manage a multi-line switchboard, answering and routing calls promptly while maintaining a courteous and clear phone presence
Respond to inbound calls with clear communication, gather necessary information, and transfer messages accurately
Provide front-office support by handling routine reception tasks that keep daily operations running smoothly
Assist guests, clients, and internal staff with general questions and basic administrative needs
Maintain an orderly reception area that reflects a welcoming and organized first impression
Monitor call activity and ensure urgent communications are relayed to the right contacts without delay
Requirements
Previous experience in a receptionist or front-desk support role
Ability to operate a multi-line phone system or switchboard with several active lines
Strong verbal communication skills and a courteous, attentive phone manner
Demonstrated customer service experience in a fast-paced setting
Comfortable handling a high volume of inbound calls while staying organized
Reliable attention to detail when taking messages and directing inquiries
Ability to remain calm, helpful, and attentive when interacting with visitors and callers
