We are now looking for a Receptionist to join the team in Leopardstown Care Centre on a permanent basis. As Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our centre. The Receptionist will offer administrative support across the organization, as well as welcoming and greeting people who visit the Care Centre. The Receptionist will also coordinate front-desk activities, including distributing correspondence and redirecting phone calls. Multitasking skills are essential for this position. You should be able to deal with multiple priorities in a timely and effective manner. Purpose of the Role: The Reception role will consult with the Director of Nursing and Administrator on a day-to-day basis and serve as a crucial point of contact for any administrative area concerning the Care Centre.
Job Responsibility:
Greet and welcome visitors as soon as they arrive at Leopardstown Care Centre
Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls
Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g., pens, forms, and brochures)
Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
Receive, sort, and distribute daily post/deliveries
Order front office supplies and keep inventory of stock
Perform other clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing, and faxing
Support with updating the policies and procedures of the Care Centre
Assist with the visitor booking system
Assist with Care Centre viewings and Enquiry Management on EpicCare
Assist with TMS system uploading of rosters
Assist with Candidate Management System (recruitment)
Assist with ‘3’ Text Communications system
Accept Payments via card terminal and issue receipts to residents / relatives when required
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Receptionist, Front of House or similar role
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g., printers, scanners)
Professional attitude with outstanding attention to detail
Ability to deal with several tasks concurrently and deal with changing priorities
Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
Customer service attitude
Fluent in both oral and written English
All posts are subject to satisfactory references, medical and Garda vetting
Nice to have:
Relevant qualification in Office Administration is a plus
