We are looking for a dependable Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers in Reading, Pennsylvania. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who enjoys creating a welcoming office experience while keeping front desk operations organized and efficient. The role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in an onsite environment.
Job Responsibility:
Welcome guests, clients, and employees with a courteous and attentive approach while directing them appropriately upon arrival
Handle front desk check-in procedures, including visitor badge issuance and access coordination in accordance with site protocols
Answer and route incoming calls through a multi-line phone system, ensuring messages are relayed accurately and promptly
Maintain an orderly reception area that reflects a positive and welcoming image of the office
Provide day-to-day administrative assistance such as managing basic office requests, supporting front office activities, and helping with general clerical tasks as needed
Requirements:
Previous experience in a receptionist, front desk, or customer-facing administrative role
Ability to manage inbound calls using a multi-line or switchboard phone system
Strong verbal communication skills with a detail-oriented and friendly demeanor
Comfortable handling visitor interactions, access procedures, and routine front office responsibilities
Reliable organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities throughout the day
Availability to work onsite Monday through Friday in Reading, Pennsylvania
