Receptionist role for Everton in the Community based within The People's Hub Facility. The charity harnesses the unifying power of football to drive social change and address societal challenges across Liverpool City Region.
Job Responsibility:
First point of contact for visitors to The People's Hub facility
Greeting, providing advice, information and assistance to diverse visitors
Assist with day to day co-ordination of all other activities and room bookings within the buildings
Provide support to programme managers with reception matters when needed
Provide first class levels of customer service, building rapport and relationships with customers, staff, visitors and participants
Ensure all enquiries are dealt with in a friendly, courteous and professional manner
Identify specific nature of any queries, whether face to face or over the telephone, and apply appropriate action response
Responsible for all incoming and outgoing mail, including special deliveries, couriers, franking machines and internal distribution
Check and sign for deliveries, before informing relevant member of staff of their arrival
Keep record of staff and visitors signing in and out of the building
Develop and maintain spreadsheets or databases containing various participant/stakeholder data indicating usage and frequency of activities
Provide ongoing support with room set up for external meetings, ensuring rooms portray professional image and are fit for purpose
Understand Club's Safeguarding policy, procedures, and best practice guidelines
Use understanding to ensure safe working practices, appropriate reporting of concerns and contribute positively to an Anti-bullying environment
Requirements:
Strong understanding of good customer service delivery
Excellent inter-personal skills with ability to build rapport and positive relationships
Highly computer literate (excellent abilities on Word, Excel and ideally Database knowledge and application)
Ability to work independently and with internal and external teams
Strong administration, organisational and planning skills
Ability to effectively manage customer & staff relationships, promptly respond to queries, ensure promises are kept and manage expectations
Approachable and empathic, with excellent communication skills and a strong sense of team spirit
