We are looking for a dedicated Receptionist to join our team in Van Nuys, California. This is a contract to permanent opportunity, offering permanent, onsite hours within a dynamic construction company. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring smooth front-office operations and providing exceptional support to both internal teams and external stakeholders.
Job Responsibility:
Answer and transfer incoming calls while taking accurate messages as needed
Maintain a detail oriented and welcoming front desk environment for visitors and staff
Process and manage customer orders efficiently using the company database
Coordinate and communicate effectively with team members to address inquiries and resolve issues
Handle general administrative tasks such as organizing files and managing correspondence
Ensure that office supplies are stocked and replenished as necessary
Assist with scheduling appointments and meetings for staff members
Provide support to various departments as needed to facilitate daily operations
Requirements:
Minimum of 1 year of experience in receptionist or administrative roles
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in using office software and databases
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
Demonstrates a detail-oriented approach and excellent customer service abilities
High school diploma or equivalent required
