Our client, a prominent name in the property sector, is looking for a proactive and enthusiastic individual to join their team as a front facing Receptionist and Facilities Assistant at one of their flagship properties in Glasgow City Centre. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone eager to grow within the property management field, particularly with an interest in facilities management and health & safety.
Job Responsibility:
Act as the first point of contact for tenants at the main reception desk
Manage day-to-day queries
Coordinate with contractors and oversee on-site activities
Oversee maintenance requests to ensure the building runs smoothly and efficiently
Assist in the day-to-day management of the property
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and statutory legislation
Contribute to audit preparation and documentation
Maintain high standards of facilities management across all sites
Provide guidance to Surveyors where appropriate
Use computer applications such as Word, Excel, and database systems proficiently
Requirements:
Customer Service Excellence - Confident and professional when dealing with tenants, contractors, and visitors
Strong Communication - Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills
Organisation & Time Management - Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise workload, and meet deadlines
Problem Solving - Proactive in identifying issues and implementing practical solutions
Attention to Detail - Thorough in handling administrative tasks, documentation, and compliance checks
Team Collaboration - Works well within a team and supports colleagues to ensure smooth building operations
Health & Safety Awareness - Basic understanding of H&S procedures and willingness to develop knowledge further
Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office
