Receptionist

• Customer Service: Greet clients, answer enquiries, and ensure a welcoming and friendly atmosphere in the salon
• Appointment Scheduling: Manage client appointments, including booking, rescheduling, and confirming appointments via phone or email
• Sanitisation and Hygiene: Maintain strict cleanliness and hygiene standards in the salon, including sanitising tools, workstations, and common areas
• Client Consultation: Assist in client consultations by discussing nail care needs and preferences, helping clients choose nail services, and conveying client preferences to nail technicians
• Inventory Management: Keep track of salon supplies, nail polish, and other products, and restock as needed. Manage inventory to prevent shortages
• Nail Preparation: Prepare clients for nail treatments by cleaning and disinfecting their hands and feet, removing old nail polish, and ensuring the readiness of tools and equipment
• Nail Technician Support: Assist nail technicians during treatments by providing them with the necessary tools and products, as well as helping with tasks like filing, buffing, and applying nail polish
• Cash Handling: Process client payments, handle cash, credit card transactions, and provide accurate change
• Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean and maintain workstations, tools, and equipment after each client visit. Ensure a tidy and organised salon environment
• Client Education: Educate clients on proper nail care and maintenance between salon visits, recommend retail products, and provide aftercare instructions
• Upkeep of Salon Appearance: Assist in decorating the salon, setting up displays, and ensuring that the salon’s overall appearance is appealing to clients
