We are looking for an organized and friendly Receptionist to join our team in Baltimore, Maryland on a contract basis. This role will require you to be the first point of contact for visitors, ensuring a welcoming and detail-oriented environment. The position will last for at least two weeks and is a great opportunity to contribute to the operations of a housing association.
Job Responsibility:
Greet and assist visitors as the first point of contact, providing a positive and detail-oriented experience
Answer and direct phone calls, ensuring inquiries are handled promptly and accurately
Maintain the reception area, ensuring it is neat, organized, and welcoming
Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including mail and email
Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry and document preparation
Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations
Provide support in scheduling appointments and meetings as needed
Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures in all interactions
Handle any additional tasks to support the housing association's operations during the contract period
Requirements:
Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel
Basic math skills and ability to perform calculations
Attention to detail and organizational abilities
Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
Detail-oriented approach and customer-service orientation
Nice to have:
Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws is a plus
