We are looking for a welcoming and organized Receptionist to support daily front desk operations. This Contract position will serve as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and staff, helping maintain a well-organized and secure environment. The ideal candidate is comfortable managing several tasks at once, communicates clearly, and brings prior administrative or reception experience to a fast-paced setting.
Job Responsibility:
Greet visitors, clients, and program participants in a courteous manner and direct them to the appropriate destination
Manage building entry activities by assisting with arrivals and departures, checking identification, and helping maintain access procedures
Open and prepare the front entrance and reception area at the start of the day to ensure smooth daily operations
Provide support with incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries while keeping materials organized
Answer and route inbound calls through a multi-line phone system with accuracy and care
Perform routine administrative tasks using basic computer applications to support front office needs
Respond effectively to changing priorities throughout the day while maintaining strong service at the front desk
Requirements:
Previous experience in a receptionist, front desk, or administrative support role
Strong verbal communication skills and a detail-oriented, customer-focused approach
Demonstrated ability to stay organized while managing multiple responsibilities at once
Comfortable handling shifting priorities in a busy, front-facing environment
Basic computer proficiency for everyday office and reception tasks
Experience answering and directing calls on a multi-line phone system
Ability to interact respectfully with visitors, clients, and staff in a structured setting
