Our client, a Fintech technology company with an office close to Columbus Circle in Manhattan is looking for a Long-Term Temporary Receptionist to join their team. This position will start as soon as the right fit is identified for an estimated 4-month contract with potential to extend. This schedule is fully onsite Monday-Thursday, and the hours are 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM (with flexibility to come earlier or stay later if there is a need on any given day). The hourly pay rate is $20.00-$22.00/hr DOE.
Job Responsibility
Greet and direct visitors, answer incoming calls, and forward messages professionally
Coordinate conference room reservations and maintain cleanliness of reception and meeting areas
Perform reception area coverage and maintain security protocols (e.g., issuing badges, visitor logs)
Coordinate office maintenance, mail distribution, supply ordering, and vendor coordination
Initiate and follow up on facility repair requests
Support large meetings and employee events, including catering and setup
Maintain seating charts and desk assignments
Implement site orientation for new employees and contractors
Provide general administrative and clerical support
Assist with executive and internal meeting requests
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required
1+ years of strong customer service experience
Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
