We have an exciting opportunity for a Receptionist to join a dynamic team in Brampton. In the realm of business administration, you will manage front desk coordination, provide top-tier customer service, and handle various administrative duties. We are seeking an early-career individual with a strong work ethic who thrives on creating a welcoming atmosphere for both internal team members and external guests. This business administration role goes beyond answering phones. You will proactively assist other departments with data entry during slower periods and venture into the warehouse facility to conduct daily employee counts, which requires wearing steel-toed boots. We are looking for a proactive self-starter who takes initiative and seeks out ways to help rather than waiting for work to come to them.

Job Responsibility:

  • Act as the primary face and voice of the company, greeting all incoming visitors and directing them appropriately
  • Operate the main telephone switchboard, answering inquiries, taking messages, and routing calls to the correct departments
  • Provide exceptional customer service to both internal staff and external clients, maintaining a happy and confident demeanor
  • Conduct daily employee headcounts by safely navigating the warehouse floor (requiring the use of steel-toed boots)
  • Proactively assist other business administration departments with data entry and clerical overflow during slower reception periods
  • Maintain a tidy, professional, and welcoming front desk and reception area at all times
  • Communicate effectively with management, demonstrating the initiative to ask questions and seek clarification when needed
  • Utilize Microsoft Office suite for various administrative tasks and quickly learn the internal payroll software during the two-week training period
  • Ensure all visitors are properly logged in and adhere to the company's security and visitor protocols
