We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Receptionist to join our team on a contract basis in Austin, Texas. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and play a vital role in maintaining a welcoming and organized office environment. Job Responsibility:
Welcome and check in guests with a friendly and attentive demeanor, ensuring an exceptional visitor experience
Maintain the front desk and lobby areas, keeping them organized, clean, and ready for guests
Coordinate meeting room schedules and assist with visitor logistics as needed
Oversee daily office operations, including managing supplies, vendor relationships, and equipment maintenance
Support onboarding processes for new employees by preparing workspaces and welcome materials
Act as the primary contact for building management and facilities-related requests
Plan and organize internal events, meetings, and team celebrations
Provide administrative assistance such as scheduling, travel coordination, and expense tracking
Collaborate with HR and Operations teams to manage documentation and support internal communication
Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance office efficiency
Requirements:
Previous experience in receptionist or front desk roles, preferably in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in handling multi-line phone systems and managing inbound calls effectively
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to maintain a tidy and well-organized workspace
Ability to multitask and prioritize while remaining calm under pressure
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with visitors and team members
Familiarity with administrative tasks, including scheduling and expense tracking
Comfortable with basic office equipment and software
