Job Description:

Robert Half has a Receptionist position available at an expanding general contractor. The ideal candidate would be well-spoken and experienced. This role provides the applicant with an excellent opportunity to sharpen their skills while advancing their career with a company that has been acclaimed for a fantastic work environment.

Job Responsibility:

manage various office files and provide general office filing support
order office and kitchen supplies
create a welcoming environment for visitors
oversee and answer all incoming phone calls
use strong prioritization skills and a sense of urgency
structure, filter, and hand out incoming mail according to specified procedures
support other administrative staff with support overflow work, including word processing, data entry and Internet research tasks
perform other clerical and receptionist related tasks as needed

Requirements:

1 year+ recent receptionist experience in an office environment
good understanding of customer service
earlier work involving projects
general familiarity with ordering office supplies
data entry experience highly preferred
navigating basic office equipment and protocols experience desired
previous experience working with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
adeptness in accepting deliveries
mail processing experience
excellent customer service and office administrative skills
great attention to detail
ability to effectively interact, verbally and in writing
confident, quick-witted, resourceful, solution-oriented and tech-savvy
