Job Description:

The main purpose of this job is to answer all incoming calls and greet clients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner. In compliance with federal and state banking regulations and established bank policies and procedures, also performs a wide variety of teller transactions in an efficient, courteous and professional manner. Provides administrative support to entire banking office team.

Job Responsibility:

  • Answer all incoming calls in a courteous, professional and expeditious manner and direct callers to the appropriate area for assistance
  • take detailed and accurate messages when assistance is not immediately available
  • Greet clients and visitors, announcing visits to the appropriate party, while ensuring waiting visitors are kept comfortable and offered refreshments
  • Create and distribute, via email, the daily visitor schedule
  • Assist with mailings, pickup / delivery of daily mail and other various administrative duties as required
  • Schedule conference rooms and community room
  • As needed, serve as back-up teller and prepare all documents for encoding, balancing and processing, and balance currency, coin and checks daily, reporting discrepancies
  • Prepare currency transactions and suspicious activity reports, as required, and cash shipments to/from the Federal Reserve or other offices
  • Maintain banking logs and records according to Bank policy
  • Acknowledge and greet clients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner as they approach the teller line
  • Regular attendance at the FineMark location designated in this job description, during regular business hours, or assigned hours for the position, is required
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • Previous experience as a bank teller preferred
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills
  • Ability to take initiative and ownership while being resourceful and resolving client concerns in a satisfactory manner
  • Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Inquisitive, agile, and strong team player with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Basic level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook
