Job Description:

The London EDITION is looking for its next Receptionist & Reservations Agent (Part-Time). As part of the team at the award-winning Berners Tavern restaurant inside the hotel, the role involves welcoming and seating guests, ensuring a seamless experience, and supporting the team with personalised service. This position offers multiple benefits including discounts, career growth opportunities, wellness support, and more. No OpenTable experience is required but would be an advantage.

Job Responsibility:

Be the face of the restaurant – the first and last impression the guest has
welcome guests warmly and personally
give a fond farewell that encourages guests to return
ensure guests are seated correctly in the restaurant according to the floor plan
communicate any important guest information to the waiting team and management
work as part of a team
take responsibility for ensuring a seamless guest experience.

Requirements:

Previous experience of using OpenTable or a similar reservations system (not essential)
friendly, warm, and service-oriented
a team player
a great communicator
understands the impact of their job on the overall guest experience
loves to meet new people
takes pride in delivering sophisticated, personalised service
has fun while doing their job.
