Job Description

Crescent Lodge Dental is a beautifully renovated, 8-surgery private practice just moments from Clapham Common Underground. We’ve built a strong reputation for high-quality general and specialist dentistry, supported by a friendly, experienced team and a well-run, professional environment. We’re looking for a warm, organised and reliable Receptionist to join us three days per week. As the first point of contact, you’ll play a key role in creating a welcoming, efficient experience for our patients from the moment they walk through the door. You’ll work alongside an experienced clinical and support team who value collaboration and take pride in delivering excellent care.

Requirements

  • Previous reception experience preferred (SOE knowledge is helpful, but full training can be provided)
  • Calm, professional and confident with patients
  • Well organised with strong attention to detail

  • Equipment and Systems Maintenance: Guide, oversee, and perform various types of maintenance (e.g., planned, predictive, corrective) and repairs following methods of procedure (MOPs), and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for one or more disciplines and one or more types of equipment (e.g., electrical, mechanical, cooling systems) and escalate when appropriate. Serve as a subject matter expert for one type of equipment and oversee everyday tasks and troubleshooting within their area of expertise. Have a hands-on understanding of how equipment works within disciplines they have been trained and how to troubleshoot equipment, systems, subsystems, and components independently within their trained discipline(s). Provide and/or assign team to provide necessary escort to third-party contractors, sub contractors, vendors, and service providers on site for all severity leveled procedures.
