We are in search of a talented and dynamic individual to fill the role of Receptionist and Assistant Bookkeeper. This full-time position provides an opportunity to contribute to our growth while developing your skills in both front desk operations and basic bookkeeping. The successful candidate will also play a crucial role in supporting bookkeeping functions for our sister companies.
Job Responsibility:
Greet and assist visitors warmly and professionally
Manage incoming calls, directing them to the appropriate departments
Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages
Maintain a clean and organized front office/design area
Assist various departments with administrative tasks as needed
Coordinate appointments and meetings, managing calendars
Assist in basic bookkeeping tasks, including daily data entry and invoice processing
Reconcile financial records and assist with month-end close activities
Maintain insurance certificates and logs
Maintain sister companies monthly activity in accounts receivable, accounts payable, reconciliations, and lease monitoring
Requirements:
High school diploma required
A minimum of 1 year of bookkeeping experience is required
Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, or move up to 30 pounds
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with QuickBooks
Demonstrated ability to type a minimum of 40 wpm with 95% accuracy
Energetic and positive attitude
Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy
Proactive problem solver
