Job Description:

Join our dynamic team at Cypress Homes Inc., a high-energy and forward-thinking single-family homebuilder dedicated to delivering exceptional homes and outstanding customer service. We are in search of a talented and dynamic individual to fill the role of Receptionist and Assistant Bookkeeper. This full-time position provides an opportunity to contribute to our growth while developing your skills in both front desk operations and basic bookkeeping. The successful candidate will also play a crucial role in supporting bookkeeping functions for our sister companies.

Job Responsibility:

  • Greet and assist visitors warmly and professionally
  • Manage incoming calls, directing them to the appropriate departments
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages
  • Maintain a clean and organized front office/design area
  • Assist various departments with administrative tasks as needed
  • Coordinate appointments and meetings, managing calendars
  • Assist in basic bookkeeping tasks, including daily data entry and invoice processing
  • Reconcile financial records and assist with month-end close activities
  • Maintain insurance certificates and logs
  • Maintain sister companies monthly activity in accounts receivable, accounts payable, reconciliations, and lease monitoring

Requirements:

  • High school diploma required
  • A minimum of 1 year of bookkeeping experience is required
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, or move up to 30 pounds
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with QuickBooks
  • Demonstrated ability to type a minimum of 40 wpm with 95% accuracy
