Job Description:

To provide full reception service to outpatients, visitors, and in-patients. To undertake tasks essential to the smooth and effective provision of quality care to patients and their families.

Job Responsibility:

  • Serves as the first point of contact for incoming patients and visitors
  • To be able to deal with telephone calls whilst at the same time managing face to face inquiries, booking appointments, directing patients to the right personnel/locations
  • Responsible for keeping the reception area clean and organized
  • Facilitates patient flow by notifying the provider of patients' arrival, being aware of delays, and communicating with patients and clinical staff
  • Responds to patients', prospective patients, and visitor inquiries in a courteous manner
  • Receives and distributes hospital management and physician correspondence
  • Provides out-patients with the Q system ticket number according to required specialty
  • Receives various Out-Patient clinics/procedures bookings and schedules them into requested/ available physicians’ slots on HIS
  • Books for out-patient follow-up appointments
  • Stamps claim forms, medical prescriptions, and any required investigations insurance documents
  • Deal with problems and complaints received and immediately act to restore patients’ satisfaction

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 1-year experience in a similar position
