To provide full reception service to outpatients, visitors, and in-patients. To undertake tasks essential to the smooth and effective provision of quality care to patients and their families.
Job Responsibility:
Serves as the first point of contact for incoming patients and visitors
To be able to deal with telephone calls whilst at the same time managing face to face inquiries, booking appointments, directing patients to the right personnel/locations
Responsible for keeping the reception area clean and organized
Facilitates patient flow by notifying the provider of patients' arrival, being aware of delays, and communicating with patients and clinical staff
Responds to patients', prospective patients, and visitor inquiries in a courteous manner
Receives and distributes hospital management and physician correspondence
Provides out-patients with the Q system ticket number according to required specialty
Receives various Out-Patient clinics/procedures bookings and schedules them into requested/ available physicians’ slots on HIS
Books for out-patient follow-up appointments
Stamps claim forms, medical prescriptions, and any required investigations insurance documents
Deal with problems and complaints received and immediately act to restore patients’ satisfaction
