This role plays a key part in delivering excellent customer service across London Tribunals, a busy independent tribunal service. The successful candidate will join a team providing front of house reception at the hearing centre, supporting the appeal process against Penalty Charge Notices.
Job Responsibility:
Act as the initial point of contact for the public attending appeal hearings
Provide a high quality service to independent adjudicators, colleagues, and the public
Work within established business processes and procedures to administer tasks supporting the overall service
Undertake key tasks which underpin the appeal hearing process efficiently and to a high standard
Cultivate a welcoming environment for everyone using and working at London Tribunals
Deal with a wide range of personal, written and telephone enquiries
Identify case management issues requiring attention of management and refer on where necessary
Requirements:
Experience in a front of house reception role within a formal environment, working effectively as part of a team to deliver a high-quality public-facing service
Experience of working in a legal environment (desirable)
Experience of working with a legal case management software application (desirable)
A clear understanding of working in a statutory environment and dealing with service users who may be unhappy with a tribunal decision (desirable)
Clear understanding of the nature of administering an appeals service with independent adjudicators making legally binding decisions (desirable)
Experience in using ICT applications, including Microsoft Word and Excel (essential) and Google Sheets and Gmail (desirable)
Must be able to demonstrate a pre-existing right to work and travel within the UK
Nice to have:

Experience of working with a legal case management software application
A clear understanding of working in a statutory environment and dealing with unhappy service users
Clear understanding of administering an appeals service
Experience using Google Sheets and Gmail
