Job Description:

We are working with a village Primary School in the Harrogate area hoping to recruit a full time Reception teacher from Easter through to the end of the summer term.

Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver engaging lessons for Reception pupils
  • Plan and assess learning in line with the EYFS framework
  • Support pupils’ progress and adapt teaching strategies as needed
  • Contribute to the wider school community and enrichment activities

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent
  • Experience teaching in UK primary schools
  • Excellent safeguarding knowledge and practice
  • Knowledge of the EYFS framework
  • Ability to provide two education-based references
  • Experience in a Reception teaching role
  • Sound knowledge of the Early Years framework
  • Track record of delivering phonics sessions
  • Legal right to work in the UK
