Job Description

justteachers are supporting a primary school in Medlock to recruit a Reception Teacher. This is a full-time role with an April 2026 start, fixed term until the end of the academic year. The school has a vibrant Early Years environment with excellent outdoor provision and a strong focus on communication and language development. Leadership are highly supportive and offer regular CPD and mentoring.

Job Responsibility

  • Deliver high-quality teaching in line with the EYFS framework
  • Create engaging continuous provision opportunities
  • Assess and track progress using observation-based assessment
  • Work closely with parents and the wider Early Years team

Requirements

  • Qualified Teaching Status or equivalent
  • Proven experience in Primary Education
  • A minimum of two references that cover the past two years, including last employer. Ideally references will be education or school-based references
