We are seeking an exceptional Reception Supervisor to join our opening team at The St. Regis London. This is more than a supervisory role—it is an opportunity to help shape the guest journey at one of London’s most anticipated luxury destinations. You will support the Front Office leadership team in overseeing the daily operation of the Reception, ensuring a flawless arrival and departure experience while delivering personalised, anticipatory service. You will guide the team, assist with operational decisions, and be a trusted point of contact for both guests and hosts.
Job Responsibility
Ensure an elegant and efficient check‑in and check‑out experience for all guests
Oversee daily Reception operations, supporting the team with complex payment issues, room allocations, and guest enquiries
Process and verify all payment types, ensuring accuracy in billing and account setup
Lead by example, inspiring a culture of excellence, professionalism, and collaboration within the Reception team
Handle guest concerns promptly and thoughtfully, ensuring issues are resolved to the highest standard
Coordinate closely with Housekeeping to track room readiness and manage exceptional requests
Support the management team with staff scheduling, training, coaching, and performance conversations
Maintain compliance with all St. Regis brand standards, policies, and procedures
Review and maintain detailed shift logs, ensuring clear handovers and continuity of service
Uphold the highest standards of guest confidentiality, safety, and operational integrity
Requirements
Previous experience in front office or guest-facing hotel operations, ideally within a luxury environment
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to support, guide, and develop colleagues
A dedication to delivering personalised, anticipatory, and refined guest service
Excellent organisational and problem‑solving abilities
Strong understanding of Front Office systems, processes, and financial procedures
