Job Description:

Randstad Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced Reception/EYFS Teacher to join a highly regarded school in Oxted for a long-term maternity cover role. The successful candidate will begin in early September with a phased handover period (2-3 days per week) before taking full responsibility for the class. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and confident educator to make a meaningful impact during a key stage of a child's development.

Job Responsibility:

Deliver high-quality teaching in line with the EYFS framework
Take full responsibility for classroom planning, assessment and teaching
Provide PPA (Planning, Preparation & Assessment) cover as needed
Actively participate in staff meetings and whole-school activities
Lead on a subject area, contributing to school-wide curriculum development
Maintain a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
Uphold and promote safeguarding and pupil welfare at all times

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Proven experience teaching in a Reception/EYFS setting
Confident with classroom management and EYFS curriculum delivery
Experience delivering PPA and taking part in whole-school responsibilities
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to hit the ground running with minimal supervision
Subject leadership experience (desirable but not essential)
