Job Description

Receiving/Shipping Clerk role at Ziosk, a company that provides pay-at-the-table solutions for restaurants. The role involves warehouse operations, inventory management, and coordination with various departments.

Job Responsibility

  • Scan the receiving and shipping devices and transfer them to other stations
  • Fulfill the sales orders by collaborating with the material handler
  • Update the status of receiving and shipping devices in the system as well as in spreadsheets
  • Assemble installation packets for use in the distribution and/or shipping of new sites from the Ziosk warehouse
  • Assist in keeping the warehouse space organized and clean
  • Move materials around as necessary to optimize the available space
  • Run the inventory on a weekly basis and prepare the inventory report
  • Tracks, traces, and updates the status of incoming and outgoing shipments
  • Closely monitor the inventory level on all critical component levels and assist the manager in keeping the balance of the inventory level between the different components
  • Coordinating with the purchasing, production, shipping, RMA, order processing, QC, and technical support departments to keep the process flowing and further streamline the current process

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • Previous experience as a shipper/receiver preferred
  • Intermediate proficiency in Excel
  • Ability to lift 10 lb boxes and stand for extended periods
  • Strong keyboarding skills
  • Intermediate level of English proficiency
  • Critical thinking ability
  • Flexibility with overtime, especially during early mornings (5:00 am) and occasional weekends (less likely)

Nice to have

Spanish language skills preferred but not required
