As a Part Time Receiving Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel by managing incoming goods, maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting various departments with stock control. This role will report into the Senior Purchasing Officer, working from 7am-1pm Tuesday- Friday with Saturday mornings as per operational requirements.
Job Responsibility:
Receive, inspect, and verify all deliveries against purchase orders and invoices
Ensure goods are stored correctly and safely in designated areas
Maintain accurate records of stock movements and inventory levels
Liaise with suppliers and internal departments regarding deliveries
Report any discrepancies, damages, or quality issues
Assist with stocktakes and inventory audits
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of receiving and storage areas
Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar receiving, stores or logistics role
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Good communication and teamwork skills
Basic computer skills and experience with inventory systems
Flexible availability, including weekends
