Support the Purchasing & Receiving function in the hotel procurement of goods and services

Requirements:
Identify potential suppliers and research their offers
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers
Create purchase orders on Birchstreet and ensure they are approved
Track orders by monitoring delivery status and ensure they are no delays
Manage inventory by monitoring stock levels and reorder supplies as needed
Review and approve invoices for payment
Resolve any issues that may arise with suppliers or deliveries
Analyze market trends and make recommendations for cost savings to meet financial objectives
Collaborate with other departments to identify purchasing & receiving needs
Maintain records and keep records of all orders, payments, and received stock
