Job Description

Receiving manager is responsible for planning, directing, and managing the operations of warehouse. Responsible for adhering to company’s receiving policies and procedures, and is responsible to report discrepancies to department manager, scan coordinator, and store director. Trains, coaches, and monitors team members on the use of manual and electric pallet jacks, and forklift according to company policies and procedures. Trains and supervises the activities of the warehouse and take accountability of all in-bound and out-bound merchandise. Also responsible for smiling and greeting all customers while delivering extraordinary customer service and responds to customers’ requests in locating products, to meet the goals and objectives of the department.

Job Responsibility

  • Plan, direct, and manage the operations of warehouse

  • Must be able to transfer to other locations within a reasonable commute of home store
  • Must be able to work in refrigerated coolers and around humidity for short periods of time
  • Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job
  • Must have 1 year of receiving experience
  • Experience operating forklift and/or pallet jack
  • Basic operational use of standard office equipment (i.e. computer, printer/fax, etc.)
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
  • Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English
