Job Description

The Receiving Equipment Operator is responsible for accurately putting away product in the designated locations throughout the Distribution Center. The operators utilize a cherry picker style lift and RF scanners in order to successfully complete their duties.

Job Responsibility

  • Safely operate a Cherry Picker lift up to 40ft. in the air
  • Utilize RF scanners in order to identify and locate product
  • Load staged product from dock area onto cherry picker lift
  • Move product from lift into proper location on the storage racks
  • Cooperate with team members to complete tasks and set goals
  • Contribute to a company culture that champions honesty, integrity, diversity, and community
  • All other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience in a Warehouse environment
  • Must have experience operating forklift and/or cherry picker equipment
  • Comfortable with heights up to 40ft. in the air
  • Must be able to work flexible hours as determined by the needs of the department, including availability for weekends as needed
  • Ability to communicate proactively and effectively including comprehending and communicating detailed instructions, reading and writing, and having knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures as required by the position
  • Must be at least 18 years old to be considered for employment with Bob's
  • Able to sit, walk, stand, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, twist, push, pull, climb, balance, crouch, push and handle and move items weighing up to 50 lbs without assistance
  • Ability to move throughout all areas of the distribution center
  • Move objects up to 250 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodations
  • Stand and walk continuously to perform job functions
