Job Responsibility
Receiving, reviewing, and processing customer payments including cheques, credit cards, and EFT payments
Performing customer account reconciliations and account spreads as required
Supporting the Collections Team by providing invoices and backup documentation through online portals, email, and mail
Assisting with customer master data maintenance to ensure accurate billing information
Responding to customer billing inquiries with professionalism and attention to detail
Providing vacation and absence coverage for members of the Credit and Collections Team
Completing administrative tasks such as reporting, filing, scanning, data entry, and document retrieval
Supporting additional accounting and finance projects as assigned by management
Requirements
Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
Post-secondary education or coursework in bookkeeping, accounting, or finance is considered an asset
Minimum six months of accounting or administrative experience preferred
Experience with Oracle Cloud is an asset
Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail
Excellent organization and time management skills
Ability to work independently with limited supervision
Strong communication and customer service skills
Comfortable using computer systems and software for data entry and reporting
Professional phone etiquette and communication skills
Nice to have
Post-secondary education or coursework in bookkeeping, accounting, or finance is considered an asset
Experience with Oracle Cloud is an asset
