As an Reality Labs (RL) Accountant, you won’t just crunch numbers—you’ll be a strategic partner in a deadline-focused, high-growth environment where your insights and expertise directly influence the success of cutting-edge products. You’ll collaborate with engineers, finance professionals, and business leaders to design and implement automated, AI-driven accounting solutions that set industry standards.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage global end-to-end accounting processes and controls with a particular focus on revenue and fulfillment accounting
  • Partner with engineering and other cross-functional teams to implement industry-leading, automated accounting solutions (including AI integrations)
  • Partner with Finance, Operations, and Business Development teams to understand emerging business practices and provide accounting support for new initiatives
  • Own month-end close procedures, including subledger management, journal entry and reconciliation review, and other duties as necessary
  • Provide well presented analytical insights that concisely tell the RL story through the preparation of quarterly and ad hoc reporting packages to management
  • Fulfill internal and external audit requests

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline or equivalent relevant experience
  • 4+ years of experience in accounting or finance
  • CPA or equivalent qualification
  • Experience with U.S. GAAP and Internal Controls
  • Experience in the Tech industry or similar high-growth/deadline-focused environment
  • Proven experience to improve business processes and systems
  • Highly collaborative temperament and proven communication skills
  • Experience of consistently working under your own initiative with demonstrated attention to detail and possesses an understanding of the "big picture"
  • Demonstrated experience operating with a high degree of autonomy
