The Enterprise Real Estate Strategy Reporting manager will report to the Director of Real Estate Strategy and supports the Real Estate team. Position is responsible for leading the development of reporting for Real Estate. This person will work with Real Estate leadership to establish KPIs, develop and maintain reports, and provide visibility to the company on Real Estate performance. Person is responsible for leading and developing team of analysts to develop and support Real Estate dashboards and reports. The ideal candidate has the curiosity to go the extra mile to understand difficult problems and develop solutions. Key attributes of the candidate are a strong analytical and data development skill set, as well as an ability to communicate effectively, problem solve, and manage multiple projects.
Job Responsibility:
Lead team of analysts and senior analysts to develop reports, dashboards, and presentations for Real Estate (Real Estate Development, Construction, Property Management, REFM)
Lead cross functional meetings to identify process improvements and develop solutions
Build reports, develop presentations and storylines for strategic initiatives
Manage strategic projects (ex. HSD, Car Wash, Rural) by developing, prioritizing, and coordinating project work plans
ensuring project objectives are aligned with overall program goals & deliverables
Support process improvement through collaboration with Enterprise Real Estate, Data and Analytics, and Enterprise Strategy as well as other functional groups and business units. Identifies, leads valuation, and deployment of various analytical tools to streamline process and improve insights
Contribute ad-hoc analyses and insights by leveraging store data, financials, and other key metrics
Collaborate with leadership team on development training materials for new and existing team members. Equip team to lead training sessions for real estate systems
Support team members in coordinating communications, development of organizational tools, and maintaining data
Perform additional tasks as assigned
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required. Major in business administration, analytics, finance, real estate, or similar field preferred.
5+ years work experience with analytics, GIS, market research, business analytics, or finance.
Proficient in data analysis using various tools and statistical packages
Technical aptitude to learn and understand the latest tools and use them to make recommendations and understand large and complex datasets
Intermediate Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects, meet tight deadlines, and continually prioritize and re-prioritize tasks as new projects are assigned.
Must possess strong analytical skills and strong attention to detail.
Comfortable working independently and in cross-functional teams.
Nice to have:
6+ years relevant work experience with analytics, real estate, or finance.
Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency, including knowledge of lookups, pivot tables, and power queries.
Experience working with SharePoint as a user and site administrator.
Experience with Power BI, Alteryx, GIS Systems (KLI), Smartsheet and Google Earth.
2+ years working with a national or international retailer.
