Job Responsibility

  • Managing a varied caseload including purchases, sales, leasing and banking matters
  • Advising commercial and individual clients, ensuring technical excellence and practical, commercially-focused guidance
  • Drafting and negotiating missives, leases and wider commercial property documents
  • Handling title examination, reporting, registrations, LBTT returns and completions
  • Supporting business development through networking, client relationships and departmental initiatives

Requirements

  • Qualified as a solicitor in Scotland
  • Technically strong with the ability to manage a varied and sometimes complex caseload
  • Commercially aware with excellent client-handling skills and strong communication
  • Proactive, organised and motivated, with an interest in developing long-term client relationships
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
