Our client is seeking a skilled Real Estate Paralegal to join our team onsite in Santa Clara! This role is ideal for a detail-oriented Real Estate Paralegal ready to support our legal department with lease review, loan document preparation, and transactional real estate matters.
Job Responsibility:
Review, draft, and organize commercial and residential lease agreements
Prepare and manage loan documents and assist with real estate closings
Conduct due diligence, including reviewing title, survey, and zoning documents
Coordinate with attorneys, clients, lenders, and third parties to gather necessary documentation and ensure timely transaction processes
Maintain organized files and databases for all real estate and loan transactions
Monitor critical dates and ensure all deadlines and requirements are met
Research local property laws, ordinances, and regulations as needed
Assist with the preparation of closing checklists, settlement statements, and funding memos
Requirements:
Associate’s degree, bachelor’s degree, or paralegal certificate from an accredited institution preferred
3+ years of experience as a real estate paralegal, with a strong background in lease review and loan document preparation
Comprehensive knowledge of real estate transactions, leases, and legal terminology
Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal document management systems
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, onsite team environment
