Our client, a successful law firm, is seeking an experienced Real Estate Paralegal with a strong background in commercial real estate to support attorneys across a broad range of sophisticated transactions and matters.
Job Responsibility:
Support attorneys in all phases of commercial and residential real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, and financing
Prepare, review, and manage transaction documents, including purchase and sale agreements, leases, loan documents, closing statements, and related correspondence
Conduct and analyze title searches
review title commitments, surveys, and exception documents
coordinate title insurance policies
Manage due diligence processes, including zoning, land use, environmental, and permitting reviews
Coordinate and assist with commercial leasing matters, including drafting leases, amendments, and estoppel certificates
Assist in development projects, including preparation and filing of permitting applications and tracking approvals
Support real estate financing transactions, including loan closings, modifications, and restructurings
Prepare closing binders and manage post-closing deliverables
Interface with clients, lenders, title companies, surveyors, and government agencies
Assist attorneys with real estate litigation matters, including document management and filings
Maintain organized transaction files and ensure compliance with deadlines and regulatory requirements
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a real estate paralegal, with a focus on commercial real estate
Strong knowledge of real estate transactions, title and survey review, and closing procedures
Experience with commercial financing and leasing transactions required
Familiarity with permitting, zoning, and land use regulations preferred
Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal document management systems
Paralegal certificate or equivalent experience preferred
