Job Description

I'm currently recruiting for an experienced Real Estate Paralegal to join a highly regarded international law firm, based in either Glasgow or Edinburgh. This is a great opportunity for a Real Estate paralegal with a background in acquisitions to step into a role supporting major energy and utilities clients on English law transactions - think sub-station and radio site acquisitions, leases, wayleaves, easements, and variations. If you enjoy a fast-paced caseload and want genuine client exposure, this one's worth a look.

Job Responsibility

  • Running own caseload of transactions, liaising directly with clients to take instructions
  • drafting acquisition documentation and negotiating directly with counterparties
  • carrying out title reviews
  • handling file opening, including first drafts of retainer letters and AML compliance
  • working across data rooms and online trackers
  • managing completions and post-completion work - registrations, filings, and reporting

Requirements

  • Enthusiastic, detail-focused Real Estate Paralegal used to juggling a busy workload and using own initiative
  • background in acquisitions
  • experience with English law transactions (sub-station and radio site acquisitions, leases, wayleaves, easements, variations)
