We are looking for a skilled Real Estate Paralegal to join our team in Bluffton, South Carolina. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting attorneys with real estate transactions, legal documentation, and case management. Job Responsibility:
Prepare and review legal documents related to real estate transactions, including contracts, deeds, and closing statements
Conduct thorough research on property records, titles, and zoning laws to ensure compliance
Assist attorneys with discovery processes, including gathering and organizing evidence and documentation
Support civil litigation efforts by drafting pleadings, motions, and other court filings
Coordinate trial preparation activities such as scheduling witnesses and organizing exhibits
Manage case files and maintain accurate records using case management software
Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties to facilitate smooth real estate transactions and litigation processes
Monitor deadlines and ensure timely filing of legal documents with courts and other entities
Provide general administrative support to attorneys, including scheduling meetings and maintaining calendars
Requirements:
Proven experience as a paralegal, with a focus on real estate law and litigation
Proficiency in case management software and legal research tools
Strong understanding of discovery processes and civil litigation procedures
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Exceptional organizational abilities and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of trial preparation and court filing procedures
Paralegal certification or relevant legal education is preferred
