Job Description

Robert Half is looking for a skilled Real Estate Paralegal to join our team on a long-term contract basis. This role requires an individual with extensive experience in commercial real estate leasing and strong organizational abilities. Located in Minneapolis, Minnesota, this position offers the opportunity to collaborate with a dynamic team and contribute to the successful execution of real estate transactions.

Job Responsibility

  • Coordinate with Transaction Managers and the client's legal department to facilitate lease agreements
  • Review and analyze commercial real estate leases, identifying issues, open items, and questions through detailed redlining
  • Submit finalized lease documents to the client’s legal department for approval
  • Address and resolve questions, comments, and markups related to lease agreements
  • Monitor the progression of leases through execution and ensure delivery to lease administration
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records within the Transaction Management tracking system, Newlitic
  • Work closely with the Transaction Management Team to uphold data quality and deliver timely reporting
  • Foster positive relationships with stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and collaboration
  • Execute additional tasks as needed to support the team and business objectives

Requirements

  • Possess a minimum of an associate degree
  • a paralegal degree or certificate is preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial real estate, with a strong understanding of lease clauses
  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Exhibit strong organizational skills and a keen attention to detail
  • Maintain punctuality and a proactive approach to deadlines
  • Show an ability to build and maintain positive relationships with various stakeholders
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other standard office tools

Nice to have

Familiarity with case management software and litigation processes is advantageous
