Job Description

We are seeking an Real Estate Investment Intern to join our investment team and actively contribute to the origination, qualification, and acquisition of real estate opportunities in Milan, Turin and Bologna. This is a strategic, market-facing role positioned at the top of the acquisition pipeline, with a strong commercial and analytical component. The Real Estate Investment Intern will be responsible for identifying and assessing both on-market and off-market investment opportunities in line with the company’s investment strategy, primarily focused on value-add residential assets. The role requires a high degree of autonomy, regular field activity, and strong analytical, commercial, and relationship-building skills.

Job Responsibility

  • Sourcing and identifying real estate investment opportunities in line with defined acquisition criteria and investment strategy
  • Building and maintaining strong commercial relationships with brokers, private owners, property managers, administrators, and other local market stakeholders to ensure a consistent and qualified investment pipeline
  • Proactively developing new sourcing channels and market relationships, adopting an entrepreneurial, opportunity-driven approach
  • Conducting site visits and performing preliminary asset assessments, identifying value creation potential as well as early risk indicators (technical, legal, planning, and commercial)
  • Leading preliminary negotiations with sellers and intermediaries to secure favorable acquisition terms, protect target returns, and mitigate downside risks
  • Supporting the Investment Manager in the preparation of investment memoranda for the internal Investment Committee, highlighting key pricing metrics, financial projections, capex requirements, potential exit strategies, and key risk factors
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders and corporate functions (Investment, Legal, Casavo Agents) to ensure a smooth and efficient deal flow across the entire transaction lifecycle

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Engineering, Finance, or a Real Estate related field
  • Basic understanding of key real estate investment concepts and metrics
  • Excellent command of Microsoft Office, with strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to establish and maintain long-term, trust-based relationships with market participants
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong sense of ownership
  • able to work independently, take initiative, and operate in a fast-paced environment
  • Genuine passion for real estate, curiosity about market dynamics, and a practical, hands-on, field-oriented approach
