We are seeking a detail-oriented and execution-focused Furniture Coordinator to support furniture planning and implementation across Back Office, Critical, and Call Center environments. This role is responsible for coordinating Moves, Adds, and Changes (MAC) projects, managing vendor relationships, processing purchase orders, tracking budgets, and ensuring timely installation of commercial furniture solutions. The ideal candidate understands workplace design concepts, commercial furniture systems, and thrives in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
Job Responsibility:
Coordinate furniture-related MAC projects from request intake through installation
Track project timelines and ensure alignment with approved occupancy plans
Partner with Occupancy Planning, Facilities, Finance, and vendors to execute workspace solutions
Serve as the primary point of contact for furniture vendors and installation crews
Collect and route vendor-developed test fits for review and approval
Prepare and process purchase orders (POs) and track furniture-related expenses
Support invoice reconciliation and maintain accurate documentation
Maintain furniture records within IWMS and update floor plans as changes occur
Monitor furniture inventory and identify opportunities for reuse and cost efficiency
Ensure installations meet ergonomic, operational, and design standards
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Facilities Management, Business, or related field
plus 2 years of related work experience OR combination of education and experience deemed equivalent (Required)
2+ years of experience in commercial furniture coordination, facilities support, workplace planning, or project coordination
Working knowledge of commercial furniture systems and installation processes
Strong organizational and project coordination skills
Experience tracking budgets and processing purchase orders
Ability to interpret floor plans and implement approved layouts
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
At least 18 years of age
Legally authorized to work in the United States
Nice to have:
AutoCAD proficiency
Experience reviewing vendor test fits
Experience supporting corporate real estate or multi-site environments
