Job Responsibility

  • Lead on real estate structured finance transactions involving a broad range of financing structures and asset classes, acting for a wide range of both bank and debt fund/alternative lender clients
  • Draft and review structured finance documents including CRE warehouse facility agreements, repurchase (repo) agreements (both MRA and GMRA based), note issuance documentation, cash management and intercreditor agreements, as well as securitisation memoranda and legal opinions
  • To act as the interface between the Structured Finance and Real Estate/Real Estate Finance aspects of transactions, understanding the full range of financing structures from vanilla investment instruments through to securitisation and other structured debt financings
  • Be actively involved in developing our Real Estate Structured Debt knowhow offerings, both internally and for clients, and to be actively involved in CRE industry associations through thought-leadership and cross-market initiatives in the rapidly growing and evolving UK and European real estate structured finance market
  • Manage deal teams including junior associates, trainees and paralegals both from within Real Estate Finance and Structured Debt team and throughout the firm in the UK and globally
  • Develop and deepen client relationships, for clients ranging from banks, investment banks, private equity funds, alternative investors, developers property companies to our annuity clients
  • Depending on your interests and experience, get involved in our sector and specialist experience teams to continue to develop your own expertise and share knowledge with colleagues
  • Support the Partners and other senior team members in with the supervision and development of more junior lawyers

Requirements
