We are looking for an experienced Real Estate Finance Paralegal to join a highly respected AMLAW firm in Washington, DC. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in transactional real estate finance and a thorough understanding of deal processes from inception to completion. Job Responsibility

  • Assist in the preparation and review of agreements, deeds, promissory notes, and other transactional documents
  • Conduct thorough due diligence and ensure compliance with all deal requirements
  • Maintain and manage closing checklists, tracking multi-property transactions efficiently using Excel
  • Review and analyze corporate documents and entity structures to support transaction processes
  • Collaborate on refinancing projects, including those involving Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac
  • Monitor financials and provide insights necessary for successful deal execution
  • Ensure the smooth flow of transactions by managing documentation and coordinating with relevant parties
  • Support attorneys in drafting and revising legal documents related to real estate finance
  • Organize and maintain transaction records to ensure accurate and timely reporting
  • Provide administrative and legal support for complex commercial real estate projects

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in transactional real estate finance
  • Proficiency in drafting legal documents, including agreements and promissory notes
  • Strong understanding of due diligence processes and deal flow management
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel for tracking and managing transactions
  • Familiarity with corporate documentation and entity structures
  • Experience working on refinancing projects with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac
  • Ability to manage multiple property transactions simultaneously
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills to support legal teams effectively
