Job Description

We have an amazing opportunity for a Real Estate Director to join a rapidly growing multi-brand hospitality and retail operator expanding throughout the tri-state markets!

Job Responsibility

  • Developing and executing market growth strategies across multiple brands and territories
  • Identifying, sourcing, and evaluating new sites through broker relationships, landlord partnerships, and direct market outreach
  • Managing site selection, trade area analysis, and financial underwriting to determine location viability
  • Leading Letter of Intent (LOI) development, negotiation, and execution to secure favorable deal economics
  • Managing lease negotiations in partnership with legal counsel while protecting long-term operational flexibility
  • Coordinating franchise partner approvals and ensuring sites align with brand-specific criteria and development requirements
  • Maintaining active deal pipelines and managing multiple active projects simultaneously
  • Building and maintaining relationships with brokers, landlords, developers, franchise partners, and industry stakeholders
  • Providing regular pipeline updates, deal reporting, and portfolio visibility to leadership

Requirements

  • Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, Urban Planning, or related field
  • Possess a minimum of 8–10 years of progressive commercial real estate experience with at least 5 years focused on retail, restaurant, franchise, or multi-unit site selection and deal negotiation
  • Demonstrated experience sourcing, negotiating, and closing multiple commercial real estate transactions annually
  • Strong understanding of commercial lease structures, LOI negotiations, financial underwriting, and site selection processes
  • Proven ability to evaluate market opportunities while balancing growth objectives and deal economics
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with brokers, landlords, franchise partners, legal counsel, and executive leadership
  • Experience with QSR, franchise, retail, or multi-unit real estate strongly preferred
  • Advanced education, industry designations, or certifications including MBA, CCIM, or related credentials are a plus
