Job Description

The Real Estate Coordinator provides operational, analytical, and administrative support to the Franchise Real Estate Manager and Real Estate Team to ensure efficient progression of franchise deals from site identification through lease execution.

Job Responsibility

  • Work with new franchise partners on finding, sourcing, and negotiating real estate leases
  • Maintain and update the Franchise Real Estate pipeline tracker, ensuring all deal stages and milestones are current and accurate
  • Support the Real Estate Manager in managing deals from site identification through lease signing
  • Track key milestones including LOI submission, LOI execution, lease negotiation, lease execution, permitting, and construction start
  • Coordinate communications between Franchise Partners, brokers, landlords, and internal stakeholders
  • Prepare and organize deal documentation for review by the Real Estate Committee
  • Assist with demographic and competitive research using Plotr and other geospatial tools
  • Support development of Real Estate Packages by compiling demographic data, behavioral data, and site attributes
  • Conduct preliminary competitor mapping and market scans
  • Assist with portfolio research on multi-property landlords
  • Support ad hoc territory and market validation requests from Franchise Development

Requirements

  • 1-3+ years of experience negotiating Real Estate leases (Franchise or Corporate)
  • Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in finance, economics, physical sciences, math, engineering, statistics, real estate, geography, analytics or business-related required
  • Very strong analytical skills and attention to detail as well as interpersonal skills
  • 1+ year of experience with Google Products / MS Office (Excel, Sheets)
  • 1+ year of experience with Buxton or Placer or equivalent real estate technology
  • Interest in fitness, retail, commercial real estate, data analytics, corporate strategy
