Job Description:

This opportunity is ideal for an attorney who enjoys sophisticated commercial real estate work, close partner collaboration, and a hands‑on role within a tight‑knit team. The position offers the caliber of big‑law transactional work combined with the flexibility, mentorship, and culture of a boutique environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support partners on a variety of commercial real estate matters
  • Drafting and negotiating LLC agreements and related organizational documents
  • Draft and revise provisions of transactional documents
  • Conduct and manage due diligence, including title and survey review
  • Coordinate directly with clients, lenders, opposing counsel, and additional transaction parties
  • Oversee closing logistics
  • Assembling closing sets, tracking execution, and ensuring required signatures
  • Provide practical, solutions‑driven support on ongoing client needs

Requirements:

  • 3–5+ years of transactional real estate experience
  • Strong background in commercial real estate and/or real estate finance
  • Experience drafting transactional documents and independently managing portions of transactions
  • Excellent communication, organization, and project‑management skills
  • Ability to collaborate closely with partners while managing responsibilities independently
  • Active Illinois bar license required
