Job Description:

This role is 100% remote and must only be barred in the state where you are sitting. The ideal candidate will bring substantial experience in managing complex transactions, conducting due diligence, and providing strategic legal counsel to clients. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual eager to make a meaningful impact in the field of real estate law.

Job Responsibility:

  • Handle a variety of commercial real estate transactions, with a focus on acquisitions and dispositions, including drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements
  • Manage the full transaction lifecycle, from initial negotiations to closing, ensuring all deadlines and requirements are met
  • Perform comprehensive title examinations and survey reviews to identify potential risks or issues and provide actionable advice to clients
  • Conduct detailed due diligence investigations to ensure compliance with legal standards and uncover potential liabilities
  • Collaborate with clients to provide strategic legal guidance and support throughout the transaction process
  • Draft and revise complex legal documents related to real estate transactions to protect clients' interests
  • Negotiate terms and agreements with opposing parties to achieve favorable outcomes
  • Monitor and stay updated on relevant real estate laws and regulations to ensure compliance in all transactions
  • Work effectively with cross-functional teams, including brokers, lenders, and other professionals involved in real estate deals

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in commercial real estate law
  • Proven expertise in real estate acquisitions, dispositions, and related legal agreements
  • Strong knowledge and experience in conducting title searches and survey analyses
  • Demonstrated ability to perform detailed due diligence investigations
  • Exceptional skills in drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements
  • Familiarity with current real estate laws and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively advise and collaborate with clients
  • Ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
